Welcome to the web-shadow of Kees Dorst, design theorist and writer about design.
On this site you can find biographical information, publications, links, texts and many images that together create something of a small self-portrait.
The site is also a work-horse: it contains a discussion functionality where invited thinkers work to progress the field of design and design theory. The images you see in the top bar of this site are watercolour-and-ink sketches that are made every day, visual reflections and thoughts captured on a postcard format. The images are refreshed periodically, higher-resolution images are available via: Kees_Dorst@hotmail.com
